January Field Trips

This month the Sunshine School 4 yr. classes will be walking to Mama’s Pizza in the Village.  We will be learning the art of pizza making from Uncle Mike and all the Sunshine kids will be making their very own pizzas for lunch.

Class Trip Schedule

• Thursday 1/20/2011 at 10AM – Mrs. Muller and Mrs. Reed
• Thursday 1/20/2011 at 1:15PM – Mrs. Bellucci (afternoon class)
• Thursday 1/27/2011 at 10AM  – Ms. Amanda and Mrs. Papa

Parking

Due to the amounts of snow, parking is even more of a challenge at the Sunshine School.  We have been asked to NOT use the parking lot directly across the street from the school.  There is additional parking on the street, but if you are still having difficulty with pick up or drop off, please call the school and we will send someone out to assist you.

Cold Weather Clothing

We are planning to take the children outside on days when the playground is not icy.  Please send in appropriate clothing.  Snow pants, jackets, hats, gloves, boots etc.  Please remember to label all your child’s clothing with his/her name.

Attention 3 Yr. Group Parents!

We are offering an additional day for our 3 year olds on Fridays from 12:30-3:00.  The additional cost is $35.00 per month.  If you are interested in adding this extra day to your child’s school week, please see Ms. Amanda.  Space is limited.

OPEN HOUSE

Sunshine School is having an open house on 2/5/2011 from 10:00-2:00.  Snow date on 2/12/2011.  Please call the school for additional information.
